Fast-Pitch Motion . . . Fast-Pitch Timing ! For a hitter, timing is critically important but, everyone knows that timing is the biggest problem when using a pitching machine. With a machine, the ball accelerates from zero to full speed (40, 50 or 60+ MPH) over the space of about 4 inches; there's no throwing motion, no pace or tempo and nothing for the hitter to time. So, to avoid developing poor mechanics, many players and coaches tend to minimize use of the pitching machine (or, not use one at all) . But now, the J-Mo changes the pitching machine completely ! Designed specifically for fast-pitch softball, the J-Mo attaches to a standard Jugs pitching machine to give the hitter the look and timing of a live-arm pitcher. The J-Mo's 360o loop and powered ball feeder are connected in merely a couple of minutes and then, the hitter "sees" a fast-pitch motion with the pace and "timing" of a fast-pitch delivery. |

Seamless motion and pitch !
Simply feed a ball into the J-Mo to a small motor driven contact wheel. The wheel then grabs the ball and fires it around the 360o track and seamlessly injects it into the pitching machine.
The J-Mo wheel is powered by a variable-speed motor with a speed control dial to adjust the pace of the ball as it is travels around the loop. It allows you to set the speed of the J-Mo to match the speed setting on the pitching machine for a smooth, realistic fast-pitch delivery (or, if you wish, speed-up the windmill motion in relation to the speed of the pitch to throw a change-up). |
